Setting Changes for Homefinder Mail in Windows Mail for Vista

First, click on the Tools menu. Then select the Accounts... option (see below).

On the Internal Accounts window make certain that your mail.homefinder.org
account is selected as shown below, and click on Properties.

Below is an example of the Internal Accounts properties window. Select the
Servers tab.

Change the outgoing mail server to mail.homefinder.org unless your Internet Provider
is SBC If your Internet Provider is SBC use their outgoing mail server
smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com

For example, below the setting is changed from mail.homefinder.org to smtp.sbcglobal.yahoo.com
if you are connected to the Internet via SBC/Yahoo DSL. You may need to contact your
provider for your outgoing mail server.

Next under the Logon Information heading make sure to add @homefinder.org to the end of your
user name as shown below.

Now click the Settings button on the email settings window displayed below.

This will open up the Outgoing Mail Server window. If you're using mail.homefinder.org as your
outgoing mail server make sure that the Use same settings as my incoming mail server radio
button is selected

If you're not using mail.homefinder.org as the outgoing mail server select the Log on using radio
button, and enter the User name and Password provided by your Internet Service Provider as
shown below. Click OK

Now that you have changed these three settings, click on the OK and Close buttons until
you are back to the first Windows Mail screen
.

Now send yourself a test email to verify the correct configuration. If there were any problems
with the test, back up and check your settings using this page as a guide.

Congratulations! You should now be able to send and receive with the new Homefinder
e-mail system. If you have any other questions about these changes, please feel
